Feel Better" Program Scheduled for April 26, 2007
Parkland Medical Center will host a "Look Good...Feel Better" program for women with cancer on Thursday, April 26, 2007 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the Parkland Oncology and Hemotology suite (#209) at the Nutfield Professional Building, 44 Birch Street. This free program is open to any woman who is receiving treatment or who has recently completed treatment for cancer. "Look Good...Feel Better" is a collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the cosmetic industry. "Look Good...Feel Better" includes a 12-step skin care/make-up application lesson, and professional advice on wigs, scarves, accessories, and nail care techniques. Participants will receive makeover tips and personal attention from trained professionals and cosmetologists. A complimentary cosmetic kit with helpful instruction booklet will be given to each participant. The program is being held from 9:30 to 11:30a.m. in Suite 209 of the Nutfield Professional Building, 44 Birch Street. For more information or to register for the "Look Good.
